Lance Cpl. Marshall was killed in action on 4th April 1917. He was 34 years old and left a wife and four children.
Lance Cpl. David M Marshall was in the King’s Royal Rifles and was attached to a Trench Mortar Battalion.
He is buried in Dickebusch New Military Cemetery, near Ypres.
Lance Cpl. David Marshall is listed on the Citizens of Glasgow Roll of Honour and on St Paul’s Church, Mansfield Road, Derby, War Memorial.
