L. Cpl. Joseph Irving served in the 1/5th Lincolns. He was 22 years old when he was killed in action on October 13th, 1915.
He worked at Marshalls in Gainsborough. And is remembered on the Loos Memorial.
Cpl. Frederick Irving served in the Army Service Corps. He was 27 years old when he died of burns in Egypt on September 1st 1916.
He also worked at Marshalls as an engine fitter. And is remembered in the Egypt Suez Cemetery.
