He was killed on the 7th of August 1915 and was 29 years old.
Lance Cpl. Mills has no known grave and is remembered on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.
He is also remembered in the Morton Roll of Honour book and on the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Roll of Honour.
